Ecommerce Partnerships Summit: A True Austin Original! A recap by Austin corporate event planner, Eclipse Event Co.

Howdy, y'all! This year, Ecommerce Partnerships decided to host their annual summit in none other than their favorite city: Austin, Texas. And let me tell you, it was an event to remember! When EP reached out looking for an Austin corporate event planner, ogoal was to immerse the guests in the true spirit of Austin, and boy, did we deliver. From local businesses to community support, we made sure to showcase the best this city has to offer. So, grab a taco and let’s dive into the two-day whirlwind of fun, learning, and all things Austin!

Day 1: Kicking Off with a Slam Dunk and Local Flavor

The conference started with a slam dunk—literally! We had an epic basketball game that pitted US partners against the rest of the world. Who knew conference attendees could be such ballers?

After the game, it was time to get down to business with a series of workshops at Capital Factory. Each of our main title sponsors hosted training sessions that left attendees buzzing with new ideas and strategies.

But all work and no play is not the Austin way! After the workshops, guests headed to Lazarus Brewing on Sixth Street for a welcome party happy hour.

The drinks were flowing, and the energy was electric. But the night was just getting started. We split up for six simultaneous dinners at some of Austin’s finest local spots: The Driskill Grill, Stella San Jac, Parkside, Moonshine Grill, Swift’s Attic, and even a VIP cruise on Ladybird Lake with Capital Cruises. Talk about dining in style—those Hyatt fajitas on the lake were a real fajita fiesta!

Corporate event venue Distribution Hall

Day two kicked off at Distribution Hall in East Austin. Sponsors lined the entryway with booths and swag that had everyone feeling like kids in a candy store.

And what’s a kickoff without a little kick? The Irish Dance Center of Austin gave a performance that had everyone tapping their feet.

Speaking of food, Alfred’s Catering kept everyone well-fed with delicious meals (breakfast, a BBQ lunch, snacks, and bar service!), while Ilios Productions ensured everything ran smoothly.

As the conference came to a close, we hosted a happy hour on the (newly rennovated!) lawn at Distribution Hall. Local artist Josh Klaus provided the tunes, while food trucks like Mellizoz Tacos, Cowbells 512 Hamburgers, and East Side King served up Austin’s best bites. It was the perfect way to wind down and soak in the last bits of the summit.

A Heartfelt Thanks

We couldn't have pulled off this incredible event without the amazing support of our local Austin businesses and the vibrant community. From workshops to parties, every moment was a testament to the spirit of Austin. Until next year, keep Austin weird, and keep those Ecommerce partnerships strong! Yeehaw!
