Coastal Cowgirl Meets Summer Retreat: BCG Takes Horseshoe Bay

BCG was in town for their summer weekend retreat and asked us to plan something special for one of their evenings—and you know we were all in. Art with Eclipse Event Co., took the lead and dreamed up a night that would feel like a true escape. The setting? Horseshoe Bay Resort. was a full-on Coastal Cowgirl moment—equal parts chic and playful, with boots, and blooms!

Guests stepped into the Palm Pavilion and were greeted by a soft blue-and-white color story that set the tone. BBJ La Tavola’s striped linens dressed the tables with effortless charm, while Center Stage's high-gloss checkered dance floor added a crisp, eye-catching centerpiece to the space. A massive cactus and hay bale installation framed the DJ booth in the most dramatic way—thanks to the dream team at Stems Floral, who brought the vision to life with desert textures, pampas grass, and sculptural succulents that stopped people in their tracks.

Party at the Moontower came through in a big way with their signature Moonshine curved bar, paired with stylish lounges, cocktail tables, and the kind of furniture you want to take home with you. Every corner of the space was intentional and inviting—ready for both cocktails and conversation.

Speaking of cocktails, guests didn’t just sip—they explored. The Sparks Agency hosted two interactive stations that kept people talking all night long. Their Drinkin’ Texas whiskey tasting gave everyone a chance to swirl, sip, and sample with a certified “Texpert,” while their leather branding station turned guests into artisans, stamping keychains, bag tags, and coasters for custom takeaways that felt like souvenirs from a great road trip.

As the music kicked in, Premier Entertainment kept the vibe going with ambient lighting and a playlist that matched the mood: upbeat, a little country, a little coastal, and totally fun. Oh Happy Day set up their photo booth to capture it all—with printouts, poses, and props that got everyone grinning.

And then came the oysters. Aphrodite Oysters glided through the crowd with trays of freshly shucked oysters on the half shell, delivering a luxury bite without ever breaking the rhythm of the evening. The surprise and delight factor? Off the charts.

Once dinner stations opened, Horseshoe Bay Resort rolled out a coastal-meets-Texas menu that had everyone going back for seconds. But the real showstopper dessert came later—Flight Ice Cream pulled up with coolers full of unique flavors like Cowboy Coffee, Mint Chip Sprinkle, and Vegan Oreo Swirl. It was the kind of dessert that made guests happily pause their dance floor moment just for one more scoop.

Just when the party couldnt get anymore fun, Double Or Nothing took the stage to lead a full-on line dancing session. Guests jumped in with zero hesitation—boots, sneakers, sandals—it didn’t matter. Everyone was on the floor, laughing and spinning across that pastel-checkered dance floor.
