Ghosts, goblins, and ghouls took over the Atlassian office this past October 26, 2023, as the tech company hosted a spine-tingling Halloween party for their employees. It was a frightfully good time, and everyone got into the spooky spirit!
The creative minds at Atlassian didn't hold back in transforming their office into a haunted wonderland, and it was all thanks to the incredible event planning by Lauren with Eclipse Event Co. The day began with the setup as the talented team from Eclipse Event Co. arrived early in the morning, adding cobwebs, and tombstones. They truly set the stage for a day of fright and fun.
The Atlassian office was buzzing with excitement as the day unfolded. For the kids (and kids at heart), there was a face painting station, a slime-making adventure, and a Kids Corner filled with entertaining activities. Live zombies even roamed the halls, providing a perfectly creepy atmosphere. Thanks to Hawgfly Productions and EPIC Entertainment, these zombies gave everyone a good scare, while Hawgfly made sure nobody would go without special FX makeup .
No tricks, only treats awaited the adults, as the event offered an array of spine-tingling delights. An escape room, a potion-making station, and a menu of chilling cocktails sent everyone's adrenaline soaring. Strong Events and Kitsch Event Styling brought an eerie, yet aesthetically pleasing, atmosphere to life. From spooky chain-link fences to eerie animatronic decorations, the night was meticulously prepared to evoke all the Halloween chills and thrills.
The Cupcake Bar, provided delicious, festive desserts that were a hit with partygoers. The tasty macaroons, along with other sweet treats, added a delightful contrast to the spooky decor. To help keep everyone bellies full, Guckenheimer came prepared with frightening light bites and even green macaroni!
As the night is growing, an increasingly eerie atmosphere enveloped the scene. Neema Vedadi, the frontman of Bat City Beats, skillfully orchestrated a playlist that had the entire crowd grooving to the rhythm. Simultaneously, Groove Labs presented a mind-bending escape room adventure, leaving employees pondering over intricate puzzles to unveil hidden secrets. While the grown-ups were engrossed in the mystery, the children gleefully indulged in a variety of lawn games thoughtfully provided by Austin Yard Games.
Atlassian's "Fallout" Halloween event was truly a night to remember. It showcased the company's dedication to fostering a vibrant and fun workplace culture, with the added bonus of getting into the Halloween spirit. We're sure that employees are already counting down the days until the next fantastic company gathering.
Thank you to Atlassian, Eclipse Event Co., and all the vendors who made this Halloween event an absolute scream! It's clear that Atlassian knows how to throw a memorable party and create a thrilling corporate culture. Who says Halloween is just for kids?
