Watermark Engage 2025:How We Brought “Tell Your Story” to Life

Washington, DC set the tone for this year’s Watermark Engage, and with more families attending than ever, the energy felt fresh and personal. Lauren with Eclipse Event Co. built the experience around the theme “Tell Your Story”, weaving it through every detail from signage to session flow. The Mayflower Hotel served as our headquarters, offering both historic charm and plenty of space for breakout rooms, meals, and programming. With Mayflower AV and Big Picture Media running point on production, every room flip, mic test, and session launch was handled with precision.

Behind the scenes, Eclipse managed the full operation—from certifications and room sets to registration and dietary coordination. Our team stayed mobile and flexible, making sure Watermark’s attendees had a smooth experience throughout. ATS Shuttles handled all the people-moving across venues, while Clavinger Security kept the spaces locked down and secure without disrupting the vibe.

By the time we reached the closing night at Planet Word, the tone had shifted from conference to celebration. The venue itself was a perfect fit for the storytelling theme, letting guests explore exhibits while connecting in a more relaxed setting. Spilled Milk brought the flavor with their signature pasta and taco bars (yes, they were just as good as they sound) and managed both the bar service and allergy signage with total care.

The energy stayed high thanks to Wroyal DJ, who filled the Great Hall with nonstop music while running a 360 booth that had lines all night. It wasn’t just a party—it was a place for teams to connect, laugh, and actually remember the end of a long week. That kind of shared moment is exactly what we aim for when we build these experiences.

In the end, it all came together—on time, on brand, and on point!
